Dame Quentin Bryce unveiled this portrait at Australia’s Parliament House in 2014 during celebrations to mark the end of her tenure as the nation’s first female Governor General. She is depicted in suffragette purple on the balcony of her office in Government House, with it’s glass walls reflecting the iconic grounds of Yarralumla. The portrait hangs in the permanent collection of Parliament House in Canberra.
